#OscarsSoWhite..London calling! it’s already past midnight and i’m glued to my tele just to catch up, With the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and to be honest ” I don’t care much about the event but as a fashionista it’s hard not have a glimpse of what the celebrities are wearing..The white women who were in large numbers wore all sort of outfits, and due to a lack of diversity the event was too vanilla or should i say boring simply because The 2016 Oscars is So White and lacked variety..
Despite The Oscars been accused of racism. Hollywood did not give a fuck that there was no diversity at the white Oscars .the academy claimed to have listened. but as i’m glued to red carpet i can only see white folks parading at the 2016 ‘white’ Academy Awards..As an outsider I am just wondering is the Oscars the reflection racism in America?.

Meanwhile, The Academy has reacted. Since the #OscarsSoWhite dispute over diversity and racial representation broke out in January, it has taken steps to even out representation at the body. New rules, announced at the end of January, include a commitment to double the number of women and ethnic minority members of the Academy by 2020.
